Batter up
This is supposed to be a romanian aproach to what is generally known in America as baseball. Before I start talking about that, I would just like to say that on the 6th of July at 7:00 pm, a young romanian
(a.k.a. Alex Sinca) who was sitting in section BB, row 9, seat 7 (his lucky number), watching his first ever live baseball game. He watched the Winston-Salem Warthogs play the Potomac Nationals. The game started off with the national anthem of the U.S.A. , and the young romanian was really moved by the moment. After that, the game started, and that's when Alex Sinca got lost. He knew the basic rules of the game and how it was meant to be played yet, he still could not get a grasp of the feeling that americans feel when they watch baseball. What Alex found interesting and funny at the same time was the publicity stunts that they pulled during the breaks. He thought that to be a great and novel aproach to advertise, at least compared with his past experience. And then, the game began...

...and so the game ended. You are probably wondering what did Alex Sinca actually think about his first baseball game ever. He loved it to make a long story short, but this post is not about "the baseball game" and it's rules and all that; this post is about what the game symbolizez. The game of baseball is a big part of American culture.
When you go to a baseball game you go to enjoy yourself, to have fun with your family or your friends regardless of your age, race, colour, gender, religion and that's one of the basic things America is all about.
